Kenn Bartley is a marketing guru and Senior VP of Business Development at LoanStar Home Lending. He knew LoanStar needed to be rebranded with a new logo and an updated appearance for all their collateral. Kenn knew if the company was going to grow and expand beyond Oregon, they would have to take the next big step with their brand.
Kenn also knows how passionate we are about branding and logo design at MediaWorks. He contracted us to create LoanStar’s new logo and the creative process yielded many potential logos.
Kenn, Mike Baldwin, LoanStar’s President and CEO along with Rick Linn, CFO/COO, all provided key feedback until the final logo and color pallet was decided upon.
Since rebranding, LoanStar has experienced explosive growth. The company more than doubled in size in the first three months of 2014. Growing from the flagship mortgage bank in the Portland, Oregon area to nearly 170 employees stretching from Seattle to Dallas.
LoanStar has opened new branches in Dallas/Fort Worth, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Clackamas, OR, and Everett, WA since April and new facilities in Vancouver, WA and Orange County, CA. As Baldwin explained, “We continue to attract talent based on our ability to close loans efficiently, a broad offering of correspondent lender relationships, and a top-flight concierge marketing system … designed to allow originators freedom to originate new loans and relationships and not process loans … or spend time trying to figure out how to market themselves.”
As Mike Baldwin said in a recently produced Mission Statement video, “we’re growing, and we are busy!”
